The relaskops are principally known in connection with

angle-count sampling(ACS), a method which determines

basal area density in forests by a simple counting method.

The relaskop automatically connects any inclination

in the line of sight, making it possible to easily find

stand basal area in square meters per hectar either

at breast height ( 1.3 m above the ground9 or

any other height.



The relaskop offer quite a few other measurement

applications in practical and scientific forestry.

路上の白い花は何だろう？

やはり マメ科のエンジュだ。

このまちではよく見られる街路樹。

数珠状の鞘果があちこちに

ぶら下がっている。

今にも降り出しそうな空の下

浅川の橋から鮎の友釣りを観察した。



隣の年配者になにげなく

護岸工事について質問したら

環境ボランティアで河川の

水質改善について熱く語り始めた。




昔はどぶ川今は泳げるほど澄み切って

COD BOD 3.0 以下である。

やればできるのだ。

東京湾もそうなれる。

どこかの国もこうなればいい。



ジパングはいっそのこと

環境技術輸出国でいい。


多摩地区の

ある市長がおっしゃった。

環境は人生哲学である。

言い換えると

環境は人の心で決まる。

9月とはいえまだ蒸し暑い一日。

友人とハイキング。


海抜1220 mの丘から

本栖湖と樹海を眺めた。

かすんで富士山見えず。


湖周辺では、カヌー、

ウインドサーフィン

キャンプの人たちだけで

暴走族がいない分　

静かである。

それがいい。
